چکیده
The objective of this study is to develop a new environmentally-friendly brake pad made from eggshells (Es) and banana peels (BPs) as reinforcement agents. E BP particles dual with various compositions were combined. E/BP mixture was then embedded on polymer matrix composing resin/hardener in 1:1 ratio. As standard, pads using single also fabricated. Physical properties (i.e. particle size, surface roughness, morphology, density), well mechanical hardness, wear rate, friction coefficient properties) investigated. It observed that reinforcements preferable (compared reinforcements) because they had synergistic effect the pad. best found specimens higher ratio which value stiffness test, puncture 4.5 MPa, 86.80, 0.093×10-4 g/s.mm2, 1.67×10-4, respectively. A high played dominant role reinforcements, increasing resin's bonding ability resulting good adhesion between matrix. When compared commercial pads, fabricated met standards. techno-economic analysis confirmed prospective production pads). From research, it expected environmentally friendly low-cost can be used replace dangerous materials.

Techno-economic and resource analysis of hydroprocessed renewable jet fuel
Background Biomass-derived jet fuel is an alternative jet fuel (AJF) showing promise of reducing the dependence on fossil fuel and greenhouse gas emissions. Hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids (HEFA) concept is also known as one of the pathways for producing bio jet fuel. HEFA fuel was approved by the American Society for Testing and Materials in 2011, and can be blended up to 50% with conven...

The significance of non-renewable resources in economic development is an on-going debate between optimists and pessimists, but what insights does it provide for contemporary societies who need to choose between alternative growth paths? This paper aims to explain the depletion of non-renewable resources within the concept of externalities in order to determine the range of externalities for fu...

supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

Conflicts between optimality and sustainability are typical in the literature on sustainable development. Using the ‘‘capital-resource’’ growth model, Pezzey and Withagen (1998, Scandinavian Journal of Economics 100 (2), 513–527) have proved that if natural resources are exhaustible, the time-path of consumption is single-peaked, declining from some point in time onwards. This paper extends the...
